Richmond Food Security Society The Richmond Foodland Asset Report delivers the results of an inventory that identified and assessed the food production potential of vacant, under-utilized, and government-owned land in Richmond. Key informant interviews and further research contributed to the development of 15 recommendations. (2013)
Community Social Planning Council of Greater Victoria The CR-FAIR Food Policy Working Group's policy briefs and policy discussion papers support local governments in their role to plan and implement policy and programs related to the regional food and agriculture system. Ensuring land is available for local food production is one of the issues being explored. (2013)

EcoDesign Resource Society The Urban Farming Guidebook is a resource for local governments in BC that are planning for the business of growing food within their towns and cities. The Guidebook has been produced by EcoDesign Resource Society and HB Lanarc Golder in collaboration with local governments and urban farmers in BC. (2013)
SFU Centre for Dialogue Planning Cities as if Food Matters was an educational event series on food security issues in Vancouver. It included four half-day workshops to explore some possibilities for the region. (2011)
